ESM36.610 Solar charging module
compensates the self-discharge when cars are not moved for an extended period of time.
The solar charging module ESM36.610 is a solar-powered charger for the conservation of charge of 12 V lead starter batteries with capacities of approximately 36 to 100 Ah.
To improve performance, it can be combined with a maximum of 2 additional solar charging modules.
The solar module is constructed of state-of-the-art thin film technology and consists of a glass/laminate structure. It is softly embedded in an external
unbreakable frame of transparent polycarbonate. All edges and corners are well rounded so that the vehicle surface (interior) cannot be damaged. A
length-adjustable cord has been affixed to the frame for safe attachment.
The charging system is voltage-restricted to 14.2 V (+/- 0.2 volt) and temperature compensated, in accordance with the charging characteristics of
lead batteries.
The solar module and the electronics are short-circuit-proof and reverse current proof.
It is designed to run continuously between temperatures ranging from - 40°C to + 90°C.
The charge plug with the electronics module is designed to fit cigarette lighters in accordance with DIN and contains an additional safety fuse 6.3 AT.
The connection cable (approx. 1.5 m long from frame to plug) consists of a crush-resistant and tear-proof material, which is break-proof and emission free
at a temperature range between – 40° C and + 90°C. An optional extra for direct connection to the battery poles is an adapter cable with a DIN socket for
the charge plug and two battery loading clamps (small) at the other end.
Every package contains a ready-to-use solar module, including electronics module, connection cable and cigarette lighter plug, as well as operating
instructions.
