The EBL70-12 is a primary-switched battery charger with microprocessor controlled constant current bulk charging, absorption pulse charging and float charging. It is suitable for all 12V lead based batteries, incl. GEL and AGM types. It can easily recondition lightly sulphated lead acid batteries by specific repair pulses. A charging mode selection allows the user to charge small motorcycle batteries with 5Ah capacity up to vehicle batteries with 100Ah with only one device. A corresponding charging current of 5 amperes provides the necessary energy. Furthermore a low temperature mode provides a perfect battery charging at outside temperatures < 10°C, too. Although this extremely compact battery charger was developed mainly for inside use, it is also splash proof. Various protective mechanisms protect both the battery charger and the car (battery and board electronics). Due to the smart microprocessor control you can leave the battery charger at the vehicle for some time since this regulates the charging process independently and always provides an optimal battery condition.
