Describes the charging technology requirements for lead-acid batteries in the automotive industry (pdf)

This article based on the current status of research, endeavours firstly to investigate the reasons for the persistent battery failures in the automotive branch, and secondly using a basic approach, it describes how to increase the life-cycle of starter batteries with appropriate charging strategies.
