Green power - Now available in the medical sector

For the first time, Deutronic Elektronik GmbH is launching on the market a high-performance external power supply that is approved for medical applications and fulfils the currently applicable energy efficiency requirements worldwide.

The ETC60-MED is CE-compliant, designed according to EN60950 and EN60601-1, and is certified by UL as a ‘recognised part' pursuant to UL60601-1. This thus facilitates a diversity of applications on medical systems, and also all other devices that come into contact with humans, such as fitness and cardiology devices.

Due to its extremely low standby power of less than 0.5 watt and a correspondingly high efficiency, the 60 watt device meets the most modern requirements for external power supplies and can therefore continue to be used without hesitation after the planned introduction of the MEPS (Minimum Energy Performance Standards) in Europe.

The extremely compact external power supply with continuous short-circuit protection is equipped with a two-pole C8 mains cable connector on the input side and has protection class II.
The ETC60-MED is available with the output voltages 5, 12, 15, 18, 19 and 24 VDC. In addition to the DC plug which is supplied as a standard feature on the output cable, customer-specific solutions are of course also possible on request.
